Go NAVY

Wednesday, May 26, 2010
This family is very special to me. They are my family (on Joe's side). Even though I've only been able to claim them as family for the last 15 years I've come to love them. They are mine. Kyle has gone and joined the Navy. Lyndsey is pregnant with her first child , and Roger and Grace's first grandchild. Meghan she's still in college only home for the summer. The family images are from Kyle's going away party. Seems odd that I have photographed all the cousins senior portraits and this is the first time we have photographed the family. We were always going to do it, but.............. Always something going on. Always busy. Waiting for the perfect hair whatever reason. Don't let the opportunity to photograph your family get away. You never know when it's going to change.

Fun Fun Fun it was like a photo safari yesterday. Elli had me all around town. They even let me drive. Guess they have never heard the stories. I think them being from Arizona helped me. Boy did I hear stories. The best one was they chose me! Not to toot my horn or anything but ...... Again the Arizona thing may have helped. This mom and daughter duo were a blast. They had me driving down gravel roads and standing in thistle bushes as tall as me. It was great and Elli could pose man could she pose. Take a look at one of their choice locations.

This was a fun little story. Justin asked Joy to marry him on July 2 in Perham. Then he talked her into dinner in DL. He tells her to dress nice. Little did Joy know she would be taking engagement photos the same day. They are a great couple and I know they will be together forever. Even though getting the boat into the lake to pull off his plan didn't go as planned. For all of you who know them I'm sure they share the rest of the story.

Cate is a nut and the funniest things come out of her mouth. Little Freudian slips. Her mom was even funnier. Look a rabbit. I am so using that line when the appropriate time pops up. I laughed and laughed. I just wish them luck trying to choose. Cate has made up her mind on a career choice. No matter how much her mom and I tried to talk her out of it today. She still wants to be a marine biologist. Which is great but the company you keep will eat you if given the chance. Enjoy the images.

Down from Alaska. I was finally able to meet cousins Lori, Matt and miss Alexandria. Plus as a bonus I was able to photograph their family portraits and Alexandria's portrait. We even talked grandpa Carl into a few smiles. Alexandria is the cutest little thing. Great personality even though she did make my baby cry.

2 kids 4 dogs and one very optimistic mommy. We got one great shot, but they tell me that's all you need. Here's my favorite.

This one is the true story behind the one good photo.

This is my wild and crazy senior. Mom came with and a friend. The jokes just kept on coming. I can't remember the last time a senior made me laugh this much. If you see Cynthia ask her about the $1 store. By the time we were finished taking photos my sides hurt. Thanks for the great memories.
